Norma Joyce Talbot Leete
1936 – 2016
Norma left us all too suddenly on Sunday July 31, 2016 for her journey back to her Heavenly home.
Norma was born to Arvil C. Talbot and Jeanette Cook on May 10, 1936 in Burley, Idaho. She moved to the Ogden area at a young age.
Norma married Chester H. Leete on April 10, 1953 in Ely, Nevada. Their Marriage was later Solemnized in the Ogden Temple. They were married for 63 years!
Norma and Chet lived in North Ogden from 1960 until 1985. Then they moved to Hopper.
Norma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she held various callings. She worked for IRS for 29 years. Norma and Chet were involved with Bowling for many years for themselves and teaching young men and woman. Norma enjoyed making ceramics and sharing them with friends and family.
Norma is survived by her husband Chester H. Leete, 4 children, Vickie (Michael) Marriott, Cheryl (Junior) Sayama, Kelvin (MaryAnn) Leete, Barry Leete, 16 Grand Children, 34 Great Grand Children, One sister Linda and one Brother Bob.
Norma was preceded in death by both Parents and 3 Brothers.
The Family would like to Thank Our House Assisted Living, Independence Home Care and Hospice and all of their staff for the loving care they gave to Norma.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Hooper Stake Center, 5375 South 5900 West Hooper, Utah with a viewing at the church Friday August 5, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am prior to the service. Both viewing times will be at the Hooper Stake Center.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Fund or the LDS Missionary Fund.
