Noval Marshall Larsen's Obituary
Noval Marshall Larsen, son of Lola Alder Marshall and Verner Comish Larsen, was born Dec. 29, 1921 in Franklin, Idaho. He died August 22, 2014 at the age of 92 in Pleasant Grove, Utah after a relatively short fight with cancer. He was the father to 9 children, who gave him 33 grandchildren, and, at the time of his death, 136 great-grandchildren. He was married March 20, 1941 in the L.D.S. Logan Temple to Shirley Olive Hopkins and they shared 73 years together living first in Preston, Idaho and then in Marsing, Idaho where they farmed and raised their family before moving to Pleasant Grove, Utah in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, 3 sisters and 6 children, 30 grandchildren and 133 great-grandchildren. His two most prized possessions were his family and his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Garden Stake Center, 1028 W. 1000 N. Pleasant Grove, Ut. with viewing at the church from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
