Olivia Landin Hinojosa's Obituary
Born April 19, 1925 in Guerrero, Mexico. Deceased November 3, 2013 in West Valley City, Utah. Olivia passed away peacefully at her home, with her children around her after a two and a half year battle with renal cell carcinoma and pancreatic cancer. She was courageous in her battle until the end. She will be remembered for her steadfast and unshakeable resolve to take care of the things she felt were important in this life. Namely to see that her beloved youngest son Rene, would be would be well cared for. This was her mission in this life. Her other joys in life were to take care of her home and her garden she was meticulous and loved her flowers and plants. She also had a talent for knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Many of her pieces are now treasured heirlooms Olivia is preceded in death by her husband Efrain D. Hinojosa. She is survived by four children, Margaret Cover (Greg) Efrain Hinojosa (Verlina) Fernando Hinojosa and Rene Hinojosa, as well as seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two nephews, and two cousins and their respective families. Her cremains will be interred at the Ogden City cemetery with her deceased husband. Special thanks to Huntsman Cancer Hospital and their staff and Bill and Judith from First Choice Hospice.
