My Uncle Bo was bigger than life to me, a youngster, growing up in Colorado. He would come and visit and I remember being in awe of this good looking guy with a his warm, engaging laugh and stories of his life in the military. One of my most vivid memories is of the time was when I was living with my mother in the "flattops" outside of Naturita, Colorado. My dad was off in Texas going to school and we were living with Grandma and Grandpa. Otto came home on leave. That was exciting enough but early during his leave he and grandpa went hunting. They came home with a pheasant. I was so excited. I took one of the feathers and ran down to my little friends house! "Look what my uncle Bo shot!" Woops....little did I know it was NOT bird season and her dad was the Game Warden! Gulp! I don't know what happened as I was oblivious - obviously. I do remember Grandpa being a little miffed! I loved my Uncle. He was always bigger than life to me and always will be my Uncle Bo!

it is so hard on me that your gone all I do is think about you and still cry but I know your not in pain no more I pary for the family and friends and wish i could of been out there to be with all of them
