I am in Provo celebrating Courtney's 21st birthday. I was looking at the obituaries and came across the very sad news and the picture of your handsome son. John and I wish to express our sincerest sympathies to you and your family. We have missed being in touch with you. If you happen to read this note and feel up to it please contact us. With love and concern for all of you. P.S. Last time I was in Provo I read of Layne's aunt's passing. The family was nice to mention my brother's name in helping Virginia. She was always an important part of the Oak Hills 4th Ward.
I am rhe daughter of Alma and Olga . I am so truly sorry to hear the passing of your precious son Parker. What an outstanding young man he is. Parker's patents should be very proud of him and the joy he brought to you all. My prayers and live are with you all at this time of need.
Parker was a wonderful example of compassion for others and joy for life. I remember his kindness towards his siblings, especially his care for his younger brother, Sterling. His was a joyful life that touched so many others. Your family is in my prayers.
It was an honor and pleasure to have the chance to coach such a great young man. I am forever touched by his spirit and life!! I'm gonna miss ya #90.

Layne, Kristen and family. Our thoughts are with you during this most difficult time. what a wonderful son Parker was and a great example he was to all. How blessed we are to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. What a reunion he is having with his Grandma Shirley and Grandpa C.McKay. You are loved greatly.

We are truly sorry to hear of Parker's passing. We didn't know Parker, but Hailey is near to our hearts. We love her very much and undoubtedly, we would have loved Parker as well. It sounds like he was an awesome young man and we would have enjoyed meeting him.
Parker has a new mission to perform. He can help those on the other side. The test is ours now. Be strong and endure so that "he may know that thy faith is stronger than the cords of death." D&C 121:44
May the Lord bless and comfort each of you. We pray that He will.

Layne, Kristin and family,
I am LeGrand Nielsens daughter so it's time I say hi. I want you to know how Parker's obituary touched my heart. What an honor for you to be his parents! He certainly was an amazing young man, and I admire your email announcing his death that left with the line "Parker's mission was able to start two years early". I too lost a son February 3 2011. It is hard, but the knowledge we have that it is but a short time before we are with our loved ones gives me such joy. My grandmother, and your Aunt, Iris Allred Nielsen, was one among many to greet him Parker, I know you are thankful for hood earthly parents and family. Keep spreading joy and laughter on your mission
