Patricia Cosner's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Cosner, a beacon of warmth, love, and kindness. Born on March 17th, 1949, she departed this world on September 30th, 2024. Patricia’s spirit, strength, and loving memory will forever be cherished by her surviving children, Kaycie Cosner, David Peay, and Corey Peay, who will carry on her legacy of perseverance, endurance, loyalty, commitment, patience, and honesty.
Predeceased by her parents, Doyle and Wanda Barney, and her daughter, Wendy Peay, Patricia was an exemplar of resilience. She was known for her extraordinary ability to advocate for herself and others, and she was admired for how she overcame her disabilities as much as she could, a testament to her indomitable spirit.
Patricia's point of warmth was her simple joys, which included sharing her favorite foods potato salad, fish n chips, with her family and friends. Her love for music was profound, especially for the Beatles and her beloved Backstreet Boys, which often served as the soundtrack of her life. A devoted fan of WWE and Law and Order: SVU, she found thrill and intrigue in these shows. In her leisure time, she enjoyed connecting with family and friends on Facebook, reflecting her knack for maintaining strong bonds with the people she held dear.
Patricia had a great fondness for the color Purple and wore it often, and vacationing in Graceland, with her parents, above all, she held the belief that the most important lessons in life were patience and kindness, core values that she embodied and passed on to her children.
Remembered as a loving mother to her children and many of her children's friends in the neighborhood and walks in life, and a person of steadfast resolve, Patricia taught us to overcome adversities with grace and strength. We take comfort in the knowledge that her influence will continue to guide us. Her enduring spirit will forever be with us, and she will be deeply missed.
