Mrs. Patricia Stevens Fox, 84, of Lehi, UT passed away early Monday morning on October 3, 2022, surrounded by her immediate and extended family. Patricia was born in Burley, ID, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Ellen Stevens. Pat was the loving wife of the late Dr. Boyd Fox of Ririe, ID.
Patricia was the loving mother of 4 children, and the loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry, husband of Mayumi Kondo of High Point, NC; and Robert, husband of Terri Clay of Lehi, UT; and two daughters, Shelley, wife of Glen King of Midland, TX; and Pamela of Wyndmoor, PA. She is also survived by one brother, Richard (Dick) Stevens, of Twin Falls, ID. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd, and her siblings Jack A. (Steve), Margaret Eames, Mary Lou Kelsey Matthews, and Leo Willis (Bill).
Patricia grew up in Declo, ID, and graduated in the Declo High School class of 1956. She held an advanced degree in education from Utah State University. She served as an educator throughout her adult life. She worked for more than 20 years as a special education teacher for the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 Area (IU13) in Lancaster, PA.
She enjoyed reading, conversation, helping others in need, and she mentored many people in her life. She had a witty sense of humor, an insatiable curiosity, wide interests, and a caring heart that always made others laugh, smile, and feel valued.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm, Friday, Oct 7, 2022 at the Lehi 26th LDS Ward at 2790 North Center Street, Lehi, UT, with Bishop Rowley officiating.
