Patricia Jane Magee's Obituary
Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Artist, Mentor, Teacher and Friend, Patricia Jane Hand Magee, 83, died on Monday, January 28, 2013 in Clearfield, UT, after a valiant fight with cancer. Special thanks to the staff at Rocky Mountain Care Center for their kindnesses and care for her.
Patricia was born on March 30, 1929 to Harold James Hand and Edna Mae Watson. She graduated from both the Artist League of New York City and Colorado Springs College. An Artist and Teacher by profession, her legacy will live on, through the people she taught, the lives she touched, and through her artwork.
Patricia is survived by her former husband Harold Alfred Magee, Montrose, CO; children, Peter (Karen) Magee, Poland Springs, ME; daughter, Susan (Bruce) Reinbolt, East Providence, RI; Mark (Leisa) Magee, Layton, UT; brothers, Peter (Christine) Hand, Conshohocken, PA; Ross (Paula) Hand, Wilton, CT; as well as many grandchildren and great-grand children.
Patricia was a member of the Saint Peter’s Church in Clearfield, and enjoyed being a member of the Saint Peter’s Church Art Guild. Memorial
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Saint Peter’s Church, 1579 South State Street, Clearfield, UT.
