Patricia Dahl Miller's Obituary
Patricia Dahl Miller of Broomfield passed away February 1, 2022, at the age of 83 in Sandy, Utah. Born in West Jordan, Utah, on March 5, 1938, to Lawrence and Lois Gardner Dahl, Pat grew up in Utah and Idaho with her sister and five brothers. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Utah State University. In 1965 she married Edward Miller in Salt Lake City and they soon relocated to Colorado. She was a resident of Broomfield from 1970 to 2021.
Pat was a caring and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She taught reading in the first grade of Kohl Elementary School from 1980 to 2003. She was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many leadership and teaching positions.
She is survived by her three children, Margaret Miller Redding, Catherine Miller Breazeale, and Brandon Miller, four of her six siblings, and her five granddaughters. Her husband of 53 years, Edward Miller, died in 2018.
There will be a funeral service at the LDS chapel at 1250 Main St in Broomfield, CO, on Thursday, February 10, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am and a memorial service at 11:00 am.
