Patricia Lee-Cheng Yeung's Obituary
Patricia was born in Canton, China, on July 7, 1937. She immigrated to the United States to pursue a graduate degree in Librarian Sciences. While completing her Master’s degree, she met Reginald Sze-Chit Yeung on a blind date. They married in 1966 and lived in California, New York, and Texas, before retiring and eventually returning to California for their golden years. Together they stayed active with tennis and tai chi and enjoyed cruises and travel, playing bridge, and socializing with friends. Patricia also enjoyed staying in touch with her former schoolmates from Taiwan and even organized class reunions. She recently moved to Utah to be near her daughter and passed peacefully in her sleep, just shy of her 87th birthday. Patricia is survived by her sister Muriel, daughter Sharon (Rich Dressen), and granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Reggie; and sister Lucy.
Patricia is interred alongside her beloved Reggie at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest, CA.
Patricia was grateful for the life she and Reggie made in the United States and keen on giving back through support of our nation’s military. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite veteran’s charity
