Upon his discharge from the military, he traveled to East Wenatchee, Washington to visit his parents who were temporarily working there. Pat and Betty welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Patricia Louise Roberts (Haugen) in Springfield, Oregon on July 15, 1960. Their second child was a handsome baby boy, Michael Leon Roberts. Patrick was an active and talented man. He built two homes and did almost every facet of the building. Pat was very mechanical and loved to work in his shop. He built an ultralight from a picture and crashed a few times and then bought a kit. Pat golfed and really enjoyed the sport and the time with his friends. Pat enjoyed most sports and played church basketball and softball.
