I didn't have the opportunity to know Pat well, as he moved to UT before I married his lifelong friend, Chris. But I feel I do know him very well, through the millions of stories told to me by my husband. Through the years, I did have the opportunity to catch glimpses of what a great man he was, when he and his,lovely wife, Carol, visited Chicago.

My condo!endes to all who loved this remarkable man, especially his wife, son, and grandchildren. He will live on in our hearts and our stories of him!

I worked with Pat at American Stores and or Albertsons. He was so funny, kind, generous and incredibly smart. And he was my very dear friend. He will be greatly missed.

Pat - you are single handedly one of the best men I have ever met. You were nothing less than kind, loving & compassionate to the people in your life.

I remember meeting you for the first time during KayeLyn’s birthday & you gifted her an iPod. But with that iPod you provided endless dance parties, girl nights, teenaged cry sessions & laughs. Memories that would last an eternity. You & your family created a safe place and it is forever treasured by me.

You loved unconditionally and you continuously showed it. I am so lucky to have met you and I am so grateful for you being there growing up; even if just for moments. They always felt bigger.

Pat, you will be missed beyond belief. Thank you for everything.

I have known Pat for over 50 years. We met because of our love of ham radio and model airplanes. Pat and I were inseparable in the years growing up, we traveled to many airplane contests and ham radio "fests." We would go bowling and just hang out, we loved to just sit in the driveway and solve all the world's problems. When I worked in radio, he was always listening to my show and would call in from time to time. I was sad when he moved out west, as I lost a part of me, but I was happy he was doing what he wanted to.

We were both an only child and we bonded like brothers, there was nothing I wouldn't do for him and him for me! I love you, my friend, my brother, we will meet again and there will be sunny days and no wind.... 73 k7lnp from Chris w9cll.
