Paul was always so friendly. I remember so many conversations as I would walk past the Jenkins house and he would be outside. He was so easy to talk to, and a joy to be around. My kids always enjoyed him, as he made a point every time that he saw them, to interact with them, and tease them. He so loved his kids, and loved to babysit his grandkids. I hope they will always remember how much he loved them. Even being on oxygen didn't slow Paul down!!

Remembering Paul through out the years - as a small child - as a teenager - and eventually for the man he became. When I lived in Midvale and had a "back forty" full of weeds, he so kindly drove his tractor from Sandy to my house and plowed my field and wouldn't let me pay him. He was a kind, kind man and will be missed. My love to you, Jodi and the kids.
So sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He was a great man. I really enjoyed being able to be his home teaching companion for a couple years. I learned a lot from him through his willingness to help others and his pure love of the Gospel. You are in my prayers.
Oh Jody I am so sorry for your loss, I have known Paul for many years, growing up in the old Sandy area. Truly a kind man, all the high school girls back in the day loved Paul!!! I will forever remember the day you two got engaged broke a lot of girls hearts!!! God walk with you and hold you for awhile.

I have so many memories of dad, but just last month he and I were talking over a game of rummy. He told me he was a lucky man to have such a great family, that he knows he could call any one us if he needed anything, and that he was proud of all we had become. Dad didn't often open up to me like that, but I'm glad he did.

I am saddened to learn of Paul's passing. My family (Gotberg's) have known Paul all of our lives. My father considered him and Jody close friends. Paul would always till my father's garden and then refuse payment and thank me for the privilege of doing it for him. He tilled the garden in October 2014 just after my father passed away. It always looked so good after he finished. That was Paul.
I can remember Paul playing basketball at my parents’ home. He always played so hard. I remember Paul's and Jody's wedding. Some of my early memories include his flat bottom speed boats. For a young boy they were so LOUD and fast. I enjoyed the rides.
I remember once at a ward party at Saratoga Springs boat harbor that Paul was driving in tight circles causing big waves. Suddenly the waves came together and swamped his boat. The heavy stern sank first and Paul climbed to the bow which was pointing almost straight up as the boat kept sinking. He was hanging at the top when the stern hit the bottom. He calmly got the bow line and swam to the dock where I was standing. As he climbed out I told him I was so sorry. He smiled at me and said no problem I needed to clean the inside of the boat anyway. That was Paul.

Paul was the nursery leader for my daughter Morgan, whom he absolutely loved. He always made a point to say hello to her and to either give her a hug, or if she was being too shy, a high five. Thank you Paul for teaching my daughter the gospel and sharing your love with her.
