Paul Elliot Midgley's Obituary
Paul Elliott Midgley, age 72, peacefully passed away at his home November 12, 2020, surrounded by family. Paul died from stage IV prostate cancer. Paul was born December 30, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack and Marie Heward Midgley. Married Susie Byers on June 1, 1971. Together they had three children.
Paul graduated South High School in 1966 and went on to graduate from Snow College in 1970. He joined the Navy Reserve while a senior in high school and went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Paul worked as a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad, and as a farmer for the Downtown Salt Lake Farmers Market. He loved animals and gardening.
Paul is survived by his wife, Susie; children Chad, Marian, and Neal; sister Jane Chambers.
Paul was a loving husband and father and we will dearly miss him.
Funeral services will be held privately.
