Oh Pauly Wally! How my heart hurts knowing that you’re not still around us. This is my fourth attempt trying to send you a message. I would write long stories of how you were as a child and what a sweet and kind heart you have. I hope this one will finally go through. I remember you as a child with those beautiful blue eyes and that curly blonde hair and you always being so sweet and happy and positive. Life has been difficult for you and I’m so sorry you had to go through so much heartbreak. I hope the past few years were happier for you and that you were able to resolve some of your pain. I’m so happy to hear that Ruffles was still with you and that you were in a positive relationship. I will always remember the sweet, beautiful little boy with the curls. Please say hello to all of our loved ones who you are now with. I will look forward to the day when I can see you again! May you rest in peace and party with the big guy upstairs while you soar with the Angels!!

Where to even begin? Paul was my best friend for long time and helped me through some tough times… I could always count on him for a laugh or anything else. We parted ways far too soon! I am so grateful I got see him a couple times recently, and even more grateful I was able to share in his influence!

I have lots of fond memories of Paul… but one (shown in the photos below): we used to play “hit for hit” at work. That is my arm after one punch from Brutus (short for Paulie.)

Paul was more than a cousin to me. He was my friend. He was my fishing partner when I needed help. He was always there for me and I tried to be there for him, but I guess I failed when he started getting into girls. We started drifting apart love going on my boat With his mom spent hours on the water. I’ll never forget them times. I’ll miss you dearly Paul you are my cousin that I miss so much even while you were alive. We never reached out to each other anymore. I don’t understand why, but it is what it is, but I’ve always love you with all my heart , I feel for you Cuz always and forever. Please say hi to the rest of the family up there with you now give him a hug from me. If not, that’s all right. I love you Paul spend a lot of time with your mom. I met Paul back in 2004 when I was living in Taylorsville, Utah at my neighbor’s house. We became close friends and hung out almost every day until I moved back to Texas. We kept in touch and he would call me and tell me how much he wanted to come visit Texas and go wild hog hunting. He would also tell me about all of his struggles he was going through and I would always be there for him no matter what. It’s been over 15 years since I last saw him but only a couple months since we last spoke. I will miss him deeply and he will always have a place in my heart. I love you brother and rest in peace ❤️

Yes, Paul would watch 3 ninjas a lot as a kid and always thought he was the 4th ninja and would jump around and start karate chopping me, jumping around knocking things over. Yea he got that VHS taken away so many damn times.

Dad was a horrible driving teacher I know I fired him and refused to learn with him, i honestly think dad had to forged that I did the complete hours since honestly nobody else could go with me and teach me. Well I remember when you started to learn and yup you fired dad and refused to go with him as well, even though I was 19 I remember taking you out on Sundays to learn since that was the best days to drive in Utah. I remember you were scared to turn right you closed your eyes and said “Mimi, I’m to scared to looked tell me when to go.”

Well my eyes got a little big and my mouth opened and said “ okay mom jr. Open your eyes and use them, you have to look, you look not me!! You were very scared to make left hand turns so I mapped out a way so you wouldn’t have to turn left at all, all rights. And we got on the freeway you did good.

You were 16 when Carter was born and still in School and of course insisted on missing school to make sure the baby would be born okay! And I was like “ya,no” but always talked mom into letting you come to the hospital. You feel asleep In the waiting room it was 3:33 am and I remember Ricky getting you but not telling you Carter was already born. I’ll never forget your face when you first saw him. And how tiny he looked while you were holding him. You are a great uncle to both Carter and Savannah. You taught them to always respect their mom, how to ding door ditch. Made them the best grilled cheese. I will miss you and so happy to know you celebrated your 5 years of being sober with the demon you had.

I remember so much as a little boy that he was there for his mom. After opening heart surgery he would get up at night and take her glucose to make sure she was okay. Very kind and helpful.
