Pearl Marie Phillips Walker Johnson's Obituary
Pearl Marie Phillips – Walker – Johnson, born September 20, 1924 in Mt. Morrison, Colorado. Mom passed away October 26, 2017 in Sandy, Utah, she was 93 years old. She grew up in Denver and graduated from West High. She married Ed Walker in 1943, they had four children. She was widowed in 1978. When she was 42 she went back to school to be a nurse. She worked for many years as a LPN and retired from Denver Presbyterian Hospital. Her love and joy was nursing! She nursed all those she lived with throughout her old age. She married Lyman Johnson in 1991. She was a Bronco’s fan to the bone and truly bled orange!
She is survived by her daughter Pat Schlosser, and son John Walker (Joyce), she is preceded in death by her sons Thomas and David Walker. She has numerous grandchildren, Sarai, Michelle, Shannon, Cosette, and Shaun, and many great grandchildren, Joshua, Lindsey, Sabrina, Jasmine, Samantha, Daniel, Annylee, Takara, and Sage.
Thanks to everyone who helped take care of her in the assisted living and Hospice! There is a special place in heaven for them all and for the Nurse’s like my Mom!
