Peggy Lynn Nebeker Peterson's Obituary
Peggy Lynn Nebeker Peterson
1957 – 2021
Peggy Lynn Nebeker Peterson, beloved mother, wife, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021. She fought a valiant 6-year battle with cancer, never losing her sense of humor, never being bitter about her lot in life. She was kind, generous and loving to all who knew her and a great joy to be around.
She was born on September 3rd, 1957 to Harold and Colleen Nebeker and spent most of her youth in St Anthony Idaho. She loved the company of 3 sisters; Diane (Parsons), Susan (Hunter), and Geraldine (Morris) and a brother, Michael. They remained close throughout her life and she thoroughly enjoyed their company.
Peggy married Tim Peterson in November of 1978 and together they had 4 boys, Jason, Blake, Scott and Steven and three daughters in law, Kristen, Amanda and Chloe and her newest pride and joy, grandson Noah Blake.
She loved the medical field, graduating from the Bryman School as a medical assistant and working in several medical offices until leaving to be a full-time mom and wife. For the next 32 years it became her mission to find a cure for the cancers that would ultimately take the lives of her and 2 of her children.
We are so grateful to have shared this journey with her and our lives have been enriched by knowing her. She will leave a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled but we find comfort in the knowledge that she is now enjoying a wonderful reunion with 2 of her boys, parents and relatives and is wrapped in the arms of a loving savior of whom she worked her entire life to emulate.
