Petronella "Nelly" Van Vliet's Obituary
Petronella “Nelly” Van Vliet passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9th, 2012 after a short battle with breast cancer. Nelly was born June 25th 1924 in Rotterdam Holland to Cornelus Hollebrandse and Elizabeth Wys-Hollebrandse.
She met her husband Arie Jacob Van Vliet in Holland and moved to Utah. Nelly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nelly loved her family and was very proud of all of them.
Nelly is survived by her six children: Hank ( Linda) Alders, Elly Alders-Callahan, Rina (Lynn) Bunnell, Arie (Sandy) Van Vliet , Ann Van Vliet-Borden, Janie (Mike) Smith.
Nelly loved to knit and cook and most of all, she loved spending time with her family and treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nelly is preceded in death by her husband Arie Van Vliet.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We love you mom !
