Przemyslaw Jerzy Korczynski's Obituary
Przemysław Jerzy Korczyński, lovingly known as Przemek/Pshemek, a lifelong resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away at his home on June 22, 2026, at the age of 53.
He was born on October 11, 1972, in Łódź, Poland, to his parents, Jolanta and Jacek Korczyńscy. He was their only child.
Przemek was formerly married to Laura, with whom he shared two children, Milena and Alan. Their daughter, Milena, was born in Łódź, Poland, in April 2001. Ten months later, the family immigrated to the United States, where they settled in Utah. In May 2005, they welcomed their son, Alan, completing their family.
Przemek dedicated 22 years of service to the United States Postal Service, beginning his career in 2004. He was a loyal, hardworking, and dependable employee who took pride in serving his community.
Przemek loved Utah for its beautiful scenery and the many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. He enjoyed skiing in the winter and spending time in the mountains during the summer. He went on road trips with his children to places like Goblin Valley and the Uinta Mountains. He also loved traveling to Florida to visit childhood friends and returning to Poland to spend time with his parents, extended family, and those he had known since his youth.
Przemek will be remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to make others laugh, and his thoughtful nature. He always made an effort to ensure everyone felt included and took pride in creating meaningful moments for those around him.
Przemek leaves behind many cherished memories and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing to those who loved him.
A Polish Mass with English remarks will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church. At 3:00 p.m., family and friends are invited to continue honoring Przemek’s life during a Celebration of Life in the church's Parish Hall.
