Quentin Azor Siverstsen's Obituary
Quentin Azor Sivertsen
December 26, 1983 - April 26, 2022
Quentin Azor Sivertsen passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2022 surrounded by family. He was
born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 26,1983 to Sandra Carol Sivertsen and John Karl
Sivertsen. He grew up in Provo, Utah and attended Timpview High School. He married Jarrah
Kaanga on March 16, 2007. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Rylan and Kylee and had a
perfect baby boy Brody who passed away on May 2, 2008.
There are not adequate words to describe somebody like Quentin. Kind, gentle, caring, loving,
soft hearted, quick witted, and a great sense of humor to name a few. He was a Husband,
Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, and Friend. He made a mark on the hearts of
every single person he met. Genuine compassion is what he projected to everyone around him.
Those piercing sky blue eyes are unforgettable and his warmth as a human being was
impossible to not be completely enveloped and touched by.
Beyond those beautiful words that he embodied to his core and who he truly was, he struggled
on and off for over 20 years with addiction. Addiction has a way of taking over and changing all
those lovely attributes that are a persons true self, and morphing their intensions and
personality. To love a person in active addiction is a challenge, but to love yourself in active
addiction is an unbearable thought. The weight is unimaginable to fathom. You only wish that
they could love themselves enough to get well and be their authentic self again. But
unfortunately, more often than not, they lose that battle with themselves and in turn we also
lose our Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, and Friend.
Quentins kindness and love far outweighs his addiction. His genuine nature was to help every
person around him. So his death will not go without trying to help any one else struggling, even
if it is just one person. Grief is the price of love, and love is worth every piece of our broken
hearts.
“Love you to the moon and back Bubba, forever”. Give Mom, Brody, and Wood all of our love.
Quentin is survived by his wife Jarrah Kaanga Sivertsen, daughters Rylan and Kylee Sivertsen,
father John Karl Sivertsen, and sister Angelika Sivertsen Anderson.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Sandra “Sandy” Carol Sivertsen, and his son Brody
Kukilakilaopualanakila Sivertsen and our family dog Woodstock.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
