Rachel Melinda Mason's Obituary
Rachel Melinda Mason, age 16, of Saratoga Springs, Utah, moved on from this life on May 10, 2024. She was born on May 31, 2007, in American Fork, Utah to Jared and Denise Mason.
Rachel was a beautiful, clever, witty, loving young lady who touched so many lives. She joined a gymnastics class at age 3 and immediately fell in love with the sport. She continued in gymnastics until age 15, when she decided to give cheer a try. She loved being a cheerleader. At age 14, Rachel started working as a gymnastics coach and was adored by the aspiring gymnasts in her classes.
Rachel was an artist. From teaching herself the guitar and ukulele, to learning the violin and piano, to making pieces of artwork to show love to her family, she was always creating things of beauty.
Rachel was able to find the humor in any situation. She had an innate ability to bring joy to the lives of everybody who knew her, even if she only knew them for a short time. She was truly a bright light in this world.
Rachel is survived by her mother, Denise (Batchelor) Mason; father, Jared Mason; older brother, Cameron; older sister, Anna; and younger brother, Logan. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, at 612 Pony Express Parkway, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by the funeral at 12:00. All are invited.
