Celebrating Rafael Garcia Rodriguez:
October 24, 1936 ~ March 6, 2025
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rafael Garcia Rodriguez— our Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, and Best Friend to those around him.
He left this world on March 6th, 2025.
Rafael, better known as Popo, was born October 24th, 1936 in San Buenaventura, Chihuahua, Mexico to parents, Santiago Garcia and Sabas Rodriguez. He had many hobbies throughout his life, but his love for horses and his horse drawn carriage were the most prominent in his life. He loved his carriage so much that it was his preferred method of transportation and considered better than his truck.
Rafael is survived by:
● His loving wife of 65 years of marriage, Angelina Rios de Garcia
● Daughter’s Margarita Garcia (Alfonso Barrera) and Martha Angelina Garcia (Guillermo Gomez)
● Son’s Enrique S. Garcia (Angela), Jose Alfonso Garcia (Lavonna), Gustavo Garcia (Yolanda), Carlos Garcia (Cynthia), Rafael Garcia (Corina), and Edgar Garcia (Claudia).
● His legacy lives on through the 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Christian Life Church, 1498 South 1700 West ~ Payson, Utah.
Rafael will be deeply missed by everyone around him, but our lord knew it was the right time for him to go. His final resting place will be in the Municipal Cemetery of San Buenaventura.

Rafael, mejor conocido como Popo, nació el 24 de octubre de 1936 en San Buenaventura, Chihuahua, México. Fue hijo de Santiago García y Sabas Rodríguez. Le encantaba el tronco de caballos y su carreta. Amaba tanto su carreta que la prefería más que su troca.
Dejó este mundo el 6 de marzo de 2025.

● Su amada esposa por 65 años de matrimonio, Angelina Ríos de García
● Sus hijas Margarita Garcia (Alfonso Barrera) y Martha Angelina Garcia (Guillermo Gomez)
● Sus Hijos Enrique S. Garcia (Angela), Jose Alfonso Garcia (Lavonna), Gustavo Garcia (Yolanda), Carlos Garcia (Cynthia), Rafael Garcia (Corina), y Edgar Garcia (Claudia).
● Y sus 21 nietos y 10 bisnietos.
Rafael será profundamente extrañado por todos nosotros pero nuestro Señor sabía que horade partir.
Su lugar de Sepulcro escogido personalmente por él y donde descansa toda su familia es el Cementerio Municipal de San Buenaventura, Chihuahua.
