Ramona Inez (Tucker) Lewis' Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our family's dear, amazing Matriarch, Ramona Inez (Tucker) Lewis. She was born March 2nd,1937 and passed away the evening of November17th, 2024.
We are consoled by our knowledge that she is now reunited with her eternal companion, Arlund D Lewis Sr. Their marriage was the beginning of an incredible legacy that undoubtedly, will last an eternity. Together, they are the parents and grandparents of 12 children, 59 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren. Ramona’s intrinsic goodness was made evident by the love she shared with everyone. She was an immediate friend, at every introduction. She was also a sympathetic ear to anyone needing understanding, without judgment. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully, in many callings. Her last words were; “Tell everyone that I love them”. Ramona was preceded in death by; her husband Arlund Lewis Sr., her sons Steven Lewis, Randy Lewis and Rick Lewis, her daughters Gwen Liddiard and Kathy Lewis, her grandsons Arlund Lewis III and Daniel Lewis, her sisters Carol Tucker, Blanche Vincent, and Shirley Grende, her brothers Dick Tucker and Jack Webb and her mother Elva Lloydd. She is Survived by her sister Joan Frew, son Arlund (Chris) Lewis,
son Terry (Karla) Lewis, son-in-law Craig Liddiard, daughter-in-law Cathy Lewis, daughter Debbie Lewis, son Ted (Sheila) Lewis, son Roy Lewis,
son Kenny (Laura) Lewis and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Ramona’s life and viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, at 10:00 AM, at Premier Funeral Services, located at 67 East 8000 South, in Midvale. A graveside prayer and interment, will be held afterward, at the Utah Veterans Cemetery (Camp Williams), in Bluffdale, at 11:30 AM.
