President White was my mission president for about 6 months in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. He taught me about obedience and love for the gospel. When I entered my mission I had a k send back some of my non-church music cassettes (which I shouldn’t have brought with me anyway) because we could only listen to MoTab or Handel’s The Messiah. I learned all the words to The Messiah and in turn learned more about the scriptures and the prophecy of the Savior and his work to save us from sin and death. Every year my family and I go to at least one presetation of The Messiah wherever we live, normally around Christmas time. I know he and Sister White cares a lot about the gospel and about their missionaries.
