Uncle Larry
When I joined the Farrer-Fairbanks-Davies family many, many years ago, Ray Fairbanks became my brother-in-law. I remember that he always had a smile and a kind word for me. He made me feel welcome whenever Maureen and I would visit in the home he shared with his eternal sweetheart, Marjorie. His wry humor was infectious. He enjoyed my jokes, as well. I knew him as an accomplished scientist, a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He was so proud of his kids. We will all miss him greatly.
