Rebecca Sego Murdock's Obituary
Rebecca Sego Murdock of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the age of 41. Rebecca was born July 9, 1977 in American Fork, Utah to John Wilson and Betty Christensen Sego. She graduated from American Fork High School Class of 1995. She also graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor degree in Home Economics.
She married the love of her life Dane Alan Murdock October 9, 2009 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Together they had three sweet children, Elizabeth (8), Jacob (6), and baby Wesley. Her family meant everything to her!
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Rebecca was extremely creative and talented in many areas including event planning, decorating, cooking, sewing, etc. She was a gentle and kind woman who was always thinking of others and looking for ways to brighten others’ lives. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and was great at showing his love for all who knew her. All are heartbroken to lose such a wonderful lady.
She is survived by her husband, Dane, children, Elizabeth and Jacob, her mother, Betty Sego, her siblings, Jennifer (Craig) Larson, Mike (Becky) Sego, Dana Sego, Jeanette (Chris) Hood, Julie (Gary) Burnett, Michelle (Russ) Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Jeremy, and her baby son, Wesley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Latter Day Saint Chapel at 541 West Center, Spanish Fork, Utah. The Viewing will be held at the same address Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the GoFundMe account would be greatly appreciated.
