Rebecca "Becky" Speirs' Obituary
Rebecca Speirs passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, in South Jordan, Utah. Becky was born on December 10, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold Speirs and Elizabeth Perschon. Becky grew up in Holladay, Alpine and Vernal areas and lived some younger years being lovingly taken care of by the Swain family in Copperton, Utah. Becky graduated from American Fork High School. Becky served an LDS mission in Arcadia California. She later went to college and became an L.P.N Nurse taking care of young children on Home Health Care. One of her favorite things to do was study and learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a Primary teacher and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Becky is preceded in death by her father Harold Speirs and her mother Betty Speirs. She is survived by her brothers Ken (Liz) Speirs, Art Speirs, Randy (Rita) Speirs, Brent (Ann) Speirs, and many nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
There will be a Graveside Service at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
