To me Uncle Will was a quiet giant with a ready smile. He gave me a sense that he was there for me and that he cared just by his smile. It was obvious that family was important to him. Though our conversations were not necessarily easy, because it was not a natural strength for either of us, I deeply appreciated his willingness and desire to have a conversation with me. He has great wisdom and was grounded and steady. He’s a great man, uncle, father, husband and disciple of Christ. I could always tell that. I love him and I will miss him.
