I knew Renee when we all worked at the Temple Records Index Bureau while we were all college students She was always so kind to me, and had a very sympathetic heart if I was ever having a down day.
I remember one day when she told us about one Christmas, when her family was on a Sub-for-Santa list. She remembered how thankful she was, not because she received gifts for herself, but how happy she was that her younger siblings were able to have a good Christmas with toys and clothes. That was typical of Renee--more concerned about others than she was for herself.
Even when it had been years since we had had contact (I moved to Texas in 1972) and the TIBs got together, she had been suffering poor health, but she showed more concern about some difficult things which had happened in my life, than about her own problems. She was a sweet lady, and this world will be a little less bright because her light has moved to a new realm. Love you, Renee! Kathy Harris Robinson
I always enjoyed your company and making you laugh Aunt Renee. You were always a gracious and welcoming person. You resolved problems and put people in contact with all your connects. Can't forget all our philosophical discussions that I enjoyed. An empty space in the family for sure. But you have some awesome fun and funny kids and Uncle Don is a hoot. Thank you for all the classical composers... you will be greatly missed.
