Rex Charles Strand
Born September 3, 1950 – SLC, UT. Died September 20, 2013 – West Bountiful, UT (Pony Haven).
Preceded by his parents Vern Strand and Eleanor Strand, Rex is survived by his daughters Megan, Erica, and Emily Strand, his brother Mike “Mick” Strand (Cari), and his closest friend for over 40 years - Phi Delta Theta brother Dan DeZotell.
Graduated from Viewmont High and the University of Utah. His favorite activity was riding horses with his daughters. Against all odds, Rex lived to bring his daughters happiness. Rex had a kind heart, a generous disposition, and was always willing to help anyone in need. As an organ donor, Rex has already brought much needed life-saving help to others. Private services to be announced.
