Renee, Vance, David and Brian,. I wish I could put into words what is in my heart, I love each one of you, I have always loved your mom and your grandma, this is such a hard time and I am not going to tell you in time it gets easier, because sometimes it doesn't you just accept it and know that life goes on, but there is always those times you will think of your mom , miss her wish you could share a special something with her, but she isn't there, but if you are very quite you will be able to feel her close, because the veil is actually thinner than you think. Please stay close to each other, your mom would want that. Your mom loved music and worked very hard to get my girls to appreciate music also, because of her they, (and many others) gained a great appreciation for music. Your mom and I had many great talks in my shop we cried together we laughed together, we gripped together. Good times and great memories! May the Lord Bless you all with peace love for one another and the comforter at this really hard time Love you all Darla

Rhoda will be missed in our ward, neighborhood and hearts. She had a good word for all she met. I loved her kind comments to me on facebook. I will miss those dearly!!! Her passing was so quick... Our loving condolences to her great family!!! May her family feel peace in knowing they will see her again. Rest in peace dear Rhoda... Though I'm sure Heaven has many assignments for you....probably musical ones!!! Love Karen and Peter Johansson
I was one of the organists in the Edgemont Sixth Ward where four or five of us rotated playing in Sacrament Meeting. I admired Rhoda so much for her wonderful musical ability, always playing not only accurately, but sensitively to bring reverence to the meetings, but also the joy of singing the hymns. Her ability to play for the Primary, accompany the choir, accompany various musical numbers, as well as take care of her organist duties so beautifully was quite amazing to me. Not only that, she also took care of the Sunday Meeting programs for many years. She handled all of it with such competence and grace. Not only that, she always had a kind word for me and a hug, which really meant a lot to me. She was an amazing woman. She really set a wonderful example of kindness, testimony, and willingness to serve. My sincerest sympathy to all of the family. We will all miss her.

I have known Rhoda since we were very young girls in California, we grew up together until we got married. We got together again here in Utah, we went to lunch every summer with two other friends that we grew up with. Rhoda will be greatly missed, she was such a great lady, I loved her so much. So Sorry hear about your mom's passing. I loved being in the Spanish Fork 17th Ward with you all.
When Rhoda played the organ or piano, I really could feel the spirit of the music and the message came across more powerfully. She never let the music drag and it definitely lifted my spirit to sing along at a brisk tempo.
Great lady.
Love from Michael and Leslie Carr.
Our Heartfelt sympathy to Rhoda's family. We love her and enjoyed her playing the piano for the choir. Rhoda has the most amazing talent and we will miss listening to her playing the organ on a Sunday, playing for us to sing and she used to sit just behind us in Chapel. She will be sorely missed by so many but we are so thankful for the Plan of Salvation and the sure knowledge that she is with loved ones in Paradise. Till we meet again dear Rhoda we will remember you with fondness. Valerie and Garth Fisher

I worked with Rhoda at TNI. After I stopped driving, she would pick me up at 6:00 a.m. to take me to work. When I retired, we would keep in touch because our birthdays were 2 weeks apart. Inevitably, we would talk about our vacations/visits to Texas because that's where Vance and his family lives. When we were together on other occasions, she and i would especially share stories about our grandchildren. Rhoda would always notify me when TNI friends would be planning our GNO and then come to get me. She had a beautiful smile and generous heart always. You will be greatly missed Rhoda.
