Richard Steven Bunton's Obituary
Richard Steven Bunton was born July 26, 1968 in Carmichael, CA. and passed away September 5, 2022 in West Point, Utah. Richard leaves behind his wife Serena, children Modesto, Alex (Emily), Faith, Leah, and Austin. He is also survived by his mother Bonnie, grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
Richard graduated from Del Campo High School. He worked with his father in the pest control industry as well as construction for many years before his employment at McClellan AFB until it’s closure. He then transferred to Hill AFB where he worked in Avionics, Electronics Maintenance Group and received many performance awards.
Richard loved his family very much and enjoyed family get togethers. He enjoyed his participation with Austin’s High School wrestling matches. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his father Rick, his sisters Janet and Joyce and his great nephew Erik.
Interment will be at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes with his sisters in Sacramento, CA. at a later date.
