Richard L Graves' Obituary
Richard L. Graves (60) passed away on August 31st, 2019 at his home in South Jordan, Utah surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He is the husband of Mary Romero Graves and they shared 42 years of marriage together.
Born in Nuremberg, Germany in March 1959. He was the son of Edward Lamar Graves and Delia Snow Graves Parker.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps in his early adulthood. He enjoyed playing his guitar, photography, astronomy, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loyal and loving husband, a dedicated and hard-working father who wanted the best for his kids, and a grandpa who loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters; Annette Graves and Jessica (Andrew) McKelvie, mother Delia, sister Wendy Parker (Jimmy Hagen), grandchildren; Autumn Jensen, Hunter Jensen, Ethan Burke, and Wesley McKelvie. He also has many extended family and friends who loved him very much.
Preceded in death by his father-in-law Patrick Romero and his brother-in-law Vincent Romero.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday September 8th, 2019 anytime between 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Springhill Suites 11280 South River Heights Drive, South Jordan UT 84095.
