Richard Thomas Jenkins' Obituary
Richard Thomas Jenkins, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 7, 2024 at the age of 59 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on October 10, 1964 to the late Frank Thomas Jenkins and Norma Jane Miner. Richard was a dedicated member of the United States Air Force for 21 years, serving his country with honor and pride. After his military career, he worked as a Production Control Supervisor at Hill A.F.B for 17 years, retiring at the age of 57. Richard was a man of many interests and talents. He was a sports enthusiast, always cheering on his favorite teams and players. He also loved to drive fast in all of the vehicles he has owned but especially in his mustangs. He was an avid coin collector. In his free time, he enjoyed watching horror films, documentaries, and the History Channel. But above all, Richard loved spending time with his fur babies, who brought him endless joy and companionship. Richard will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Melissa Ann Jenkins, and their children, Richard Thomas Jenkins Jr (Son), Tosha Nicole Hatch (Daughter), David Hatch (Son-In-Law), Michael James Demaree (Step-Son), Felicia Ann Demaree (Daughter-In-Law), Kearsten Brianna Demaree (Step-Daughter), Matthew Linkin Demaree (Step-Son). . He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Thomas Jenkins Jr, mother, Norma Jane Miner, his brother, Garry Lee Jenkins and daughter-in-law, Angel Jenkins. He will also be remembered by his stepmother, Diane Jenkins, sisters Jody Marie Atkinson and Sue Ann Holland, and brother Ronald Allen Jenkins, as well as his grandchildren, Elina Marie Jenkins, Jason Rhett Jenkins, Davyn Cole Hatch, Julien David Hatch, Brynlee Rae Hatch, Isabelle Ann Hatch, Bentley James Demaree, Castiel Bryan Demaree, Azlyn Brianna Demaree, A celebration of Richard's life will be held on July 20, 2024 at 6:30pm in Provo Utah 444 South 400 west . In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society to fight Multiple Myleoma in Richard's memory. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
