Dick, how we will miss you! You were our beloved neighbor for 12 years and you were family. We loved hearing you playing the banjo or harmonica, and we would open all our windows so we could hear you better. Love you dearly sweet friend, and love your family. Love- Ash Richards
Dick was home teacher for the Longs for 35 years. Dick had a number of teaching partners but Dick was always our home teacher (I don't think anyone else could manage or could stand to visit the Long family) but we adored Dick.
This year on Mother's Day, Dick walked up to our home (with his walker) and played "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" on his harmonica to me for Mother's Day. A memory I will never forget.
