Richard Leslie Miller's Obituary
Richard Leslie Miller passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 82. His battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in resent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with humor. Despite his circumstances he stayed strong, playful, and flirty until the end. He passed surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor him by living their lives to the fullest.
As a child, Richard was very artistic and good with his hands. His goal was to become a famous artist. He loved to carve western art in cedar wood. His beautiful artwork can be found in homes and businesses around the country. He was also a union trained carpenter, and worked on the completion of BYU stadium. He was a school bus driver in the state of Wyoming.
Richard met his loving wife, Karma, while dragging center street in Provo Utah. They enjoyed their dates at the roller skating rink. He could dance on skates. They married on February 5, 1971. Richard is survived by his wonderful wife, Karma, and their two children Paul and Karla. Richard was also the proud father of Richard, Joy, Jeff, Michael, Sheila, Randy, Cameron, and Allison. He truly loved all of his family. His personality blossomed when he was surrounded by family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
Richard will be honored in an open house viewing on January 23, 2024. Visiting hours are from 11-1 PM at Premier Funeral Services located at 67 E 8000 S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84047. Burial will follow at Lindon City Cemetery located at 600 N 200 E St, Lindon, Utah 84042.
