Richard Dee Moody's Obituary
In loving memory of our Husband, Father, Granddad, and Brother– Richard Dee Moody passed away from an aggressive battle of cancer on June 30th, 2022, with family by his side. These were some of our darkest days, but we have found peace knowing he is no longer in pain. However, our lives will never be the same without him.
Richard was born on January 28th, 1949, in St. George Utah. He was adopted by his loving parents, Antone and Ruby Moody and gained a sister and best friend for life Toni.
We would like to thank all our friends and family for the love and support shown. Richard will be missed by so many. He had a unique sense of humor and loved to tease anyone around him. He had a passion to make things and was a handy man that could do anything anyone asked him for.
Some of his favorite things, were riding his Harley and spending time with his dogs, Schatzie, Lucy and Jake (they were truly his best friends).
Proceeded in death by parents, Antone and Ruby Moody. His mother-in-law Cleo Carstensen and son in law Nguyen Tang.
Survived by his soulmate of 33 years, wife and best friend Marilyn Moody, sister Toni (Jerald) Gee, daughters Melissa Moody, Melissa (Gary) Cisneros, Jenn (Chris) Humphrey, Jami Tang, Traci (Ben) Garcia, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life and luncheon on Saturday July 16th at the home of Jenn and Chris Humphrey (open house 1:00pm to 5:00pm) 1181 W. Country Ridge Drive South Jordan, Utah 84095. Please bring memories to share.
