Richard N Orzechowski's Obituary
Richard “Dick” Orzechowski, 85, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24th. He was surrounded by loved ones at McKay-Dee Hospital after suffering from a brief illness.
Dick was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 3, 1939, to Stella and Alfonse Orzechowski. He graduated from Duquesne University in 1963 with a degree in business and accounting and had a long, successful career working for Westinghouse as a controller and then after retirement in other financial positions.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie; his children, Melissa Lewis; R. Chad Orzechowski (Cassandra); Stacey Domicone (Fred); Kevin Orzechowski, Craig Orzechowski, Erik Orzechowski (Amy), and his grandchildren:
Missy Lewis’ sons - Charlie & Maddox Lewis;
Chad and Cassandra’s sons - Marcus & Nicholas;
Erik and Amy’s daughters - Olivia & Ava
Craig’s children – Marissa & Ryan
Kevin’s children – Alex & Abigail
Stacey and Fred’s children – Nicholas, Zack & Julie
He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry and his parents.
Dick was a devoted father, avid golfer and diehard Steelers, Penguins and Pitt fan.
A memorial will be held on a date in the near future. Memorial donations may be made in Dick’s name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
