I remember going to my Uncle Richard and Aunt Anna's house over the many years. It was always such a good feeling. They had a beautiful little home and was always warm and cozy and full of love, and always welcoming. It was a special experience for me, and for my daughter Jessica, when she was little as well.
I remember a fond memory of Richard and Anna taking me to Lava Hot Springs when I was about 6 or 7 months pregnant. It was so fun and relaxing, and of course All kinds of yummy goodies that Aunt Anna packed for us. We let all our cares go and just had fun.
For many years all of our different family members gathered together at Grandma and Grandpa Pexton's home, and made home made ice cream. There were very many special memories of many, many Sundays gathering at Grandma and Grandpa Pextons, and watching good ole' Lawrence Welk. I think that was my favorite show in the word. I loved it! Uncle Richard took such good care of his yard. Uncle Richard and Aunt Anna loved to grow things in their vegetable garden, those tomatoes were out of this world in my opinion.
I loved when Uncle Richard would come to my home with his best friends, Dick and Joan. It was so nice when they would all come, and we could just visit and be together.
Special times and special memories I will have forever embedded in my mind.
The years pass so quickly, let us all cherish every minute of every single day.
God Bless you Uncle Richard and I hope you are at peace now and forever.
In a funny way Uncle Richard, it's because of you that brought your beautiful daughter Sandra, my special cousin and I together, so thank-you for that.
