It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard Allen Roark on September 20,2025, at the age of 49. Richard was born on July 20, 1976, and is survived by his parents, Robert Roark and Carol Carman; his brothers, Michael, Dustin, and Brady Roark; and his cherished daughter, Mercedez Roark. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Nicole Roark.
Richard had a deep love for the simple joys—fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and dogs. He was a dedicated supporter of his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints, and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.
For most of his life, Richard worked tirelessly in the construction industry alongside his brother, building not just structures but lasting memories. Known for his infectious smile and a sense of humor that could light up a room, he had a unique ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. His warmth and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends. Saturday, October 11th at 1 pm at Premier Funeral Services on 67e 8000s Midvale, Ut 84047.
