Richard Leroy Strange's Obituary
Richard Leroy Strange passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, November 30, 2019. He was born in Springville, Utah October 6, 1939 to Dern H. and Una Nielsen Strange. He served in the US Army and National Guard.
Richard was an amazing man that would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger just to help. He will always be remembered for his love of gold, guitar playing, singing, family, and Mt. Dew.
He is survived by his loving wife Sherry, children Michael (Kathy Jo), Susan (Rick), Dixie, Steve (Sara), Lisa (James), Rexine, 22 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father, infant son, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
The family would like to thank the staff of Encompass Hospice Lyndie, Anne, Rachel, and Ann for their compassion and loving care.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13th, 10:00 AM at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
