Richard Evans Stucki (Dick), 64 passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013. He was born Sept. 11, 1949 to Golden Autumn and Edith Mary Evans Stucki, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dick grew up with his loving mother and older brother Tom. Read Obituary
Dick and I worked together a few times during my mission and his to England. He was a faithful missionary and a good example for me. He once told me about dutch oven cooking while in the mission field. When he put his book together he signed a copy for me. I have it today. He is a good person! Allen Mc
Dick Stucki is one of the greatest men I have ever known. When most people told me to aim for the curb to get out of the gutter, he reminded me that we are all in the gutter, but some of us are aiming for the stars. I will miss him dearly, and I regret not having known of his passing sooner. Kindness, gentleness, and inspiration were his currency, and he invested in me when my stock was at its lowest. Thanks for believing in me. I will miss you always.
Dick was a good man and I enjoyed associating with him at our Wasatch Penturners Club meetings every other month. Dick got our club newsletter rolling and did a great job with it. God Bless.
Dear Pam, We always admired the love that you and Richard shared with each other. We remember our visits, many years ago, when Mom took us all to Chuck-A-Rama for dinner and the many other adventures that we did together. May God Bless you, today and always. I am so sorry to hear about this. It sounds like he had been suffering and I'm glad he is at peace. My thoughts are with you.
As you know, Dick was there for me during one the darkest, most difficult times of my life when I was in England. Remember when couldn't sleep and was wide awake and ready to counsel me when I unknowingly called him so late that one night? He comforted me and made things okay in my troubled heart. I will always be grateful for that and the sacrifice you gave while he was bishop of our ward. Thank you for coming to the airport when I came home that day too.
I love you both and wish you peace. I may not be able to get off of work, but if I can, I will be at the services. If not, know you are in my prayers.

Pam, I am so glad that you have been with us. You and Dick have been such great examples of dedication and love for each other. I will miss Dick. I'll always remember his final words to me which were words of gratitude. I'll always be here for you. Love you.
He was an amazing man! Our thoughts and prayers are with Pam and family during this time. He will be greatly missed in the Haven Ward!
