Rita Gene Garner's Obituary
Our beautiful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister passed away January 30, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 6, 1927 to George Albert and Lily May Martineau. Rita was a talented pianist, organist and artist and served for many years as organist for the LDS Church. Mom was a great lady who gave her whole heart. Her unselfish commitment to her children inspired everyone who knew her.
Survived by 5 children Kerry (Laura), Kevin (Martha), Jeanne Kelly, Andre (Lisa), Marilyn Boyle. 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother Antione (Dixie) Martineau. Preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and grandson Stephen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Silvercrest LDS Chapel, 9119 South 1300 East, Sandy, UT with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment at Memorial Mtn. View Estates.
