I have a hard time just thinking about one memory l have so many. But driving back to Texas reminded me of the many road trips we took together. When I was just little l remember mom and dad just getting a cooler and some weenies and we would stop somewhere and build a little fire and roast them. We would always take Sunday drives and explore things or go jack rabbit hunting and never came home with any rabbit! One time down in Wendel l remember Rachel asking him "grandpaw where's the road?" he said " don't you see it? It's right there in front of my jeep!" Sometimes we would be driving along and he would start pointing at something off in the distance, when you would ask him what it was he would say " don't you see the Buffalo standing there?" l remember daddy teaching me to drive and how much I like to go exploring now and he will always be there in the passenger seat listening to me sing along with the radio and not complaining about me not knowing all the words. I loved all the time we spent together going nowhere and talking about nothing it was just fun being together. I love you Daddy and I will keep you with me always in my heart. R.I.P.
Love your daughter
