Robb Donovan Sigman's Obituary
Robb D. Sigman "GWA", 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends at his residence in Orem, UT. Robb was born December 13, 1957 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Robert and Jaylene Sigman. They later moved to the California Bay Area, where he spent most of his childhood. He was married and sealed to his sweetheart Susie May (Yazzie) Sigman in the Jordan River Temple on September 22, 1987. She preceded him in death on May 13, 2021.
Robb graduated from Half Moon Bay High School in 1975 and attended Brigham Young University. He served in the Rapid City, South Dakota mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and returned to BYU where he graduated with his bachelor's degree in International Relations in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army, and re-enlisted with the National Guard and served eight months in Afghanistan. Through both the military and his civilian career, he was able to travel the world and utilize his international relations degree in ways he hadn't dreamed he would. He loved learning about history, and different cultures. He loved and developed great appreciation for the different art, architecture, literature and music from all over the world. When he was home, he focused on spending time with his family and would share his love of art and history with his daughters, always bringing something back from his travels to share with them. Together Robb and Susie built a beautiful home in Orem, UT where they raised their three daughters and welcomed their sons-in-law. Robb was a devoted husband and father and he loved his family very much.
Robb is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Elena & Maloni Satuala, Baillie & Javier Pastrana, and Lauren & McKay DeGering; his two sisters, Sarah Nelson & Jodi LeBlanc; and his parents Robert & Jaylene Sigman.
