Robert (Bob) Jose de la Cruz's Obituary
Bob was born in Provo, Utah on May 13 1958 to Jose and LaDeane de la Cruz. On August 17th 2022 Bob returned home surrounded by loved ones.
Bob graduated from Olympus High School and pursued a career in law enforcement and loss prevention. Bob would say his biggest accomplishment was raising four successful children. Bob was a wonderful cook and salsa maker. He loved his dog Puka and enjoyed scootin’ around with his friends causing all kinds of mischief. Bob cherished his lunch outings with his brothers and an ice-cold diet coke.
Bob will forever be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his no-bullshit attitude.
Bob is preceded in death by his father Jose and mother LaDeane. Survived by his loyal companion and best friend Puka, his four children Melissa, Jeremy, Kara (Derek), Jenna (Courtney). Brothers; John, Steven, and David. Ten grandchildren Damon, Andru, Allie, Preston, Mia, Lincoln, Ryan, Calie, Brielle, and Jasmine.
Bob may have left this Earth but his words and memory will never be forgotten. Celebration of Life details will be provided on Bob’s Facebook page at a later date. In leu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity in remembrance of Bob.
