Robert "Bob" L Stack's Obituary
On August 24th 2024, Robert (Bob) L. Stack peacefully left his physical life while at home with his wife Diane by his side.
Bob lived a big life and loved it to the fullest. He was willing to try (almost) everything at least once. One of many examples, Bob learned to ski in his 70’s simply to surprise Diane and spend time with her on the mountain. Bob was an avid angler and would head to Flaming Gorge (or anywhere he could land a huge fish) weekly throughout his life. In his spare time you’d catch him golfing, biking, working on cars or building anything from birdhouses to benches—he could fix or build seemingly anything. Bob truly lived an exceptional life, full of adventure. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Born on October 25th, 1940 in Idaho Falls, ID to Emma Nadine Pierce and Francis Edward Stack.
Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane. His daughter Judi Linford, grandson Justin Linford, granddaughter Jade (David) Hover, daughter Cara Cordingly, grandson Colby, granddaughter Kiersten, daughter Annalin (Chuck) Connery; grandson Jacob (Karlayn) Connery, granddaughter Brittany Edward's, daughter Emily Baron, granddaughters Carol Gilgen and Nizhoni Bradley, grandsons Lawrence (Anne) Gilgen, Teagan (Mashea) Penn, and Kai Bradley, stepdaughter Breein (Harrison) Clark, granddaughter Madisen (Julian), grandsons Gage and Leo, stepson Dax Donoviel , 15 greatgrandchildren, and two dogs Harley and Archie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, CeJay Connery, brother, Frank Stack, sister, Susan Mathews and sister Lee Allen Atwood.
A celebration of Bob’s life is being held on September 14th, 2024 at the Monte Vista Park in Roy from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Bob would want you to go throw a line in the water, take one last run for the season, place a bet, play a round of golf, plant your onions early and remember the joy life brings you.
