Robert Waldo Hallam's Obituary
Robert Waldo Hallam, 76, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Heritage Care Center in American Fork, Utah from the effects of Parkinson’s.
Robert was born September 8, 1940 in Coalville, Utah to Waldo Robertson Hallam and Bess Laney Hallam. The first of six children.
Robert was raised in Emmett, Idaho. Attended school there and graduated from Emmett High. He attended one year at Utah State in Logan, Utah before serving an honorable mission in the East Central Mission. Attended BYU before joining the Navy to serve his Country.
While stationed in Alameda, California he met and married Lora Goodfellow in the Oakland LDS Temple on September 14, 1968.
Shortly after his marriage Robert spent 15 months in Guam before returning to BYU to finish his education. Member of the LDS Church served as Elders quorum President, Bishop counselor, Bishop of Hayward III Ward and many other callings. Survived by his beloved wife Lora Goodfellow Hallam his mother Bess Laney Hallam and his beloved children Kevin Hallam, Randy (Ashley) Hallam, Amy Hallam and Merilee Hallam also his much loved grandchildren Abigail, Cody, Ethan, Keaton and Blakely. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by his 5 siblings, Richard (Jeanette) Hallam, Jerilyn (Burton) Waite, Janice (Micheal) Moser, Weston (Chrystal) Hallam and Larry (JoEllea) Hallam. Also by David (Lisa) Goodfellow his brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the LDS Chapel located at 828 South Locust Ave. in Pleasant Grove, UT. A viewing will be from at 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
