He was born Jan.14, 1954 the Eldest of eight children born to Robert Howe Sr. & Rosalyn T. Chee Howe.
He married his High School sweetheart Joleen Carter and they had three children Bobbi Jo Volpi (Tony) Bucklind Howe (Staci) Cody Howe (Crystal) they later divorced. He thought his family was complete but eleven years later he found out his rodeo wasn’t quit over just yet. Our little hitchhiker Kylee Sales (granddaughter & best friend) joined him on his bull ride called life.
I could tell you about all of his jobs, but what he did best was love and enjoy his family. Always attending the family parties and special occasions, that is what gave him joy.
Here is something Robert wrote on June 27, 2017 just 19 days after his surgery.
You know... I've done a lot of teen aged rodeos ...but guess what, I drew out the meanest, toughest of Broncos... Slamming the chute gate... Snorting flames through its nostril.. Family and friends praying together. I will dust the arena dust off my wranglers, size 34 or not...Thanks again to my wife, kids, family, and friends. Got my next entrance fee in my back pocket. Thank you the greatest rodeo man I've ever known, love my Dad. Our Lord Jesus will always be King..!!
He was proceeded in death by his Father and his Brother Herbert Howe.
He is survived by his mother, his wife, six brothers and sisters, all of his children and sixteen grandchildren.
Thank You to the family and friends that supported him through these last few months.
