Robert Leon Huff's Obituary
Our Beloved Father and Husband, Robert Leon Huff, age 77, died peacefully surrounded by his family on November 18th, 2022. He was born on March 24th, 1945, to James Jefferson Huff and Atha Christine Ramsey in Winchester, Kentucky.
He loved going camping with his children, swimming, skiing, and traveling the USA with his beloved wife. He also had a deep love for animals and service. He was also an eagle scout. Throughout his life he volunteered at the Special Olympics, countless community events, participated in temple work for his kindred dead, and enjoyed visiting the different temples throughout the USA.
He served in the most honorable position anyone can have, he served in the military for 35 years. He served in both the Marines and the Army. He served and taught countless troops that helped save many lives. He was immensely proud of his service and talked of it often.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his older sister Faye, and his son, Darold.
He is survived by his wife, LuWayne Nash-Huff of 20 years, his 11 kids: Robert Huff JR., Jolene Conn, Lester Huff, Diana Webb, Pam Jensen, Kenneth Nash, Wayne Nash, LaNae Taylor, Ilene Nash, Carl Nash, Brian Nash, and 3 of his siblings, Jim Huff, Mike Huff, and Vicki Platt, and his grandchildren and adoptive grandchildren.
Viewings will be held on:
Date: December 1st, 2022, and December 2nd, 2022
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm on Dec 1st and 9am-10am on Dec 2nd.
